When attempting to open a tutorial, nothing shows on screen other than a grayed out loading animation or an empty box with a loading animation along the top of the screen. Loading animation is similar to:


When a tutorial will not load and is showing the above loading animation, it means that this tutorial is still relying on the 3rd party Adobe Flash Player add-on. The failure to load the tutorial is usually based on the Adobe Flash Player either not initializing properly due to a corrupted installation, or that it is not installed. 


Below are steps to resolve the Flash Player issue:


Uninstalling Adobe Flash Player

Due to recent enhancements to the Adobe Flash Player installers, you must now remove the player by using the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller. Use the link below to access and download the appropriate uninstall utility for your system. When running the uninstaller, you must close all browser windows before continuing. It’s mandatory that you restart your computer after the uninstall utility has finished.


1. Download the Adobe Flash Player® uninstaller:

a. For Windows Operating Systems please click the following link or copy and paste the URL into your browser: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
b. For Mac Operating Systems please click the following link or copy and paste the URL into your browser: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

2. Save the file to your system if prompted, choosing a location where you can find it easily (if only prompted to run, skip to step 6)

3. Close all running applications, including all internet browsers 

4. Locate the file that you saved previously in step 2

5. Double click the file to run the uninstall utility

6. Follow the on-screen prompts for the utility

7. Restart your computer after the uninstall has finished


Installing the Adobe Flash Player


1. Click the link to download the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player, or copy and paste the URL into you browser: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

2. De-select any optional or additional offers that may display near the center of the download page as they are not necessary

3. On the right side of the screen, click the “Install Now” button

4. Depending upon what browser you are using you may be prompted to save the file; do so if prompted, otherwise run the file (if only prompted to run, skip to step 8)

5. Close out of all open programs  

6. Locate the downloaded file

7. Double Click the file to execute

8. Follow the on-screen instruction in the installation declining any additional offers the install may prompt; such as “Install BING toolbar,” or “Make BING my default search provider”

9. Restart your computer


Now that the Adobe Flash Player has been installed, you may attempt to re-open the training site and access the tutorial. If following these steps does not resolve the issue, please contact support.
