All modern browsers have a pop-up blocker feature, and that feature is by default enabled. Please be sure to disable or enter exceptions (where applicable) into the browser based pop-up blocker you have prior to accessing the training site. Below you will find instructions to disable the pop-up blocker for all current supported browsers. For those that support it, we also cover how to add exceptions tothe pop-up blocker.


Chrome

  1. Click on the Customize and control button in the upper right corner of the browser
  2. Choose Settings
  3. Select the Show advanced settings option (If you can see the Privacy section, skip this step)
  4. Under the Privacy section click on the Content Settings... button
  5. Scroll down until you see the Pop-ups section
  6. Select Allow all sites to show pop-ups
  7. Click the Done button
  8. Close the Settings page


This will allow all sites to display pop-up windows. 


If you want to only show popups from the support site follow steps 1-5 above and then:

  1. Click on Manage exceptions
  2. Under the Hostname pattern column, click inside the text box that says "[*.]example.com"
  3. Enter training.ctsys.com
  4. Verify the Behavior option is set to Allow
  5. Click the Done button
  6. Click Done once again
  7. Close the Settings page


You will now be able to have pop-ups show on the CTS site.


Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the Tools gear in the upper right corner of the browser
  2. Select Internet Options
  3. Click on the Privacy tab
  4. Remove the check mark next to Turn on Pop-up Blocker by clicking on it
  5. Click OK


This will allow all sites to display pop-up windows. 


If you want to only show popups from the support site follow steps 1-4 above and then:

  1. Click on Settings
  2. In the field labeled "Address of website to allow:" enter *.ctsys.com
  3. Click Add
  4. Click Close
  5. Click on OK


You will now be able to have pop-ups show on the CTS site.


Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the Open menu option in the upper right corner of the browser
  2. Choose the Options icon
  3. On the left side of the page, select Content
  4. Remove the check mark next to Block pop-up windows by clicking on it
  5. Close the Options page


This will allow all sites to display pop-up windows. 


If you want to only show popups from the support site follow steps 1-3 above and then:

  1. Select the Exceptions button
  2. in the "Address of website" field enter https://training.ctsys.com
  3. Click on the Allow button
  4. Choose Save Changes
  5. Close the page for Options


You will now be able to have pop-ups show on the CTS site.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the Settings and more option in the upper right corner of the browser
  2. Select the Settings option
  3. Scroll down to find and click the View advanced settings button
  4. Click on the Block pop-ups option, setting it to the off setting
  5. Close the Settings pane by clicking on the Settings and More option


This will allow all sites to display pop-up windows. Microsoft Edge does not allow for exceptions to be entered for sites on the Pop-up blocker.


Safari for Mac (Not supported on PC)

  1. Click on the Safari menu
  2. Choose Preferences
  3. Now select the Security tab
  4. Remove the check mark next to Block pop-up windows by clicking on it
  5. Close the Preferences window


This will allow all sites to display pop-up windows. Safari does not allow for exceptions to be entered for sites on the Pop-up blocker


It is also possible a third-party pop-up blocker may be installed. These must be disabled or proper exceptions entered as well. If you are unable to disable, or need assistance please contact support and they will assist to the best of their ability.
